ACM Promotions Announcement

Administrative Controls Management, Inc. (ACM)’s ownership team announced the promotions of Jim Krebs to Executive Vice President and Anthony Woodrich to Senior Vice President. In addition, they were also pleased to welcome Joe Kinchen into the role of Vice President and Owner, and Stephanie Hesson to Senior Director of Human Resources. The year 2020 was significant in planning and executing ACM’s leadership transition with the expansion of its team.
Joe has been part of the ACM team for the past 9 years working as a project controls manager for multi-million dollar projects in the manufacturing, chemical, and energy industries. He has supported and managed numerous projects and portfolios in Asia, North and South America, and Europe; and will continue his role as regional director for Charlotte, North Carolina and Columbus, Ohio. Joe will also continue working with the other owners in developing and starting up new clients in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Georgia, and Richmond, Virginia.
Stephanie has been part of the ACM team for over 25 years managing and supervising administrative personnel, the administration of ACM’s HR department and recruiting process, as well as coordinating training seminars and performing reviews and updates of ACM’s manuals and seminars. She also assists in the development and refinement project management processes. ACM is extraordinarily fortunate to have Stephanie who is an integral part of ACM’s management team.

Training organizations that carry the PMI ATP Program Logo are a reflection of PMI® and thus must undergo an extensive evaluation of their companies in order to be admitted to the Program.

Joe Kinchen '10 Under 10' by UNCC

Administrative Controls Management, Inc. (ACM) is pleased to announce that its Regional Director, Joe Kinchen, has been named as a 2020 recipient of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte’s ‘10 Under 10’ recognizing exceptional alumni who have graduated within the past ten years. Created in 2018, the award program shines a spotlight on graduates who are not only staking their claim in their professional careers, but who are also heavily involved in the community through volunteering and philanthropy.
Over the past eight years at ACM, Joe has managed Fortune 500 projects and portfolios in the manufacturing, chemical, and energy industries; supported and managed numerous projects and portfolios in Asia, North and South America, and Europe; and presented at AACE International meetings. He has also trained Fortune 500 companies and local governments on project management, Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling, Microsoft Project scheduling, and Risk Management. Joe served as the president of the UNC-Charlotte fishing team from 2008 to 2010, won more than $30,000 in scholarship funds, and advanced to three National Championships. He currently serves on the College of Engineering Alumni Council and is an active UNC Charlotte athletics supporter.
James E. Krebs - President-Elect of AACE

ACM is pleased to announce that Senior Vice President and Co-Owner, James E. Krebs, PE, CCP, PMP, FAACE, has been elected President-Elect for AACE International, the Association of the Advancement of Cost Engineering; a 7,000-member nonprofit Association serving the total cost management community since 1956. This three-year commitment is a continuance of Jim’s service to the Association, having been an active member of AACE International since 1986, earning the Charles V. Keane Distinguished Service Award, named as a Fellow, and in 2019 was presented with the O.T. Zimmerman Founder’s Award. He has also served on the Association’s Board of Directors as the Director of Region 4, and the Vice President of Administration.
Jim has over 34 years of project management, project controls, and construction experience including planning, scheduling, estimating, cost controls, field supervision, administrative, and claims analysis and testimony services within the heavy construction, nuclear, utility, manufacturing, petrochemical, and automotive industries.
