ACM is a PMI - Authorized Training Partner

The Project Management Institute’s Authorized Training Partner (ATP) status is only awarded to established, high-quality, financially-sound project management education providers who are aligned to PMI® core values, have mature business practices, and offer courses aligned to the PMI Talent Triangle®.  Training organizations that carry the PMI ATP Program Logo are a reflection of PMI® and thus must undergo an extensive evaluation of their companies in order to be admitted to the Program.

Joe Kinchen '10 Under 10' by UNCC

Administrative Controls Management, Inc. (ACM) is pleased to announce that its Regional Director, Joe Kinchen, has been named as a 2020 recipient of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte’s ‘10 Under 10’ recognizing exceptional alumni who have graduated within the past ten years.  Created in 2018, the award program shines a spotlight on graduates who are not only staking their claim in their professional careers, but who are also heavily involved in the community through volunteering and philanthropy.

Over the past eight years at ACM, Joe has managed Fortune 500 projects and portfolios in the manufacturing, chemical, and energy industries; supported and managed numerous projects and portfolios in Asia, North and South America, and Europe; and presented at AACE International meetings.  He has also trained Fortune 500 companies and local governments on project management, Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling, Microsoft Project scheduling, and Risk Management.  Joe served as the president of the UNC-Charlotte fishing team from 2008 to 2010, won more than $30,000 in scholarship funds, and advanced to three National Championships.  He currently serves on the College of Engineering Alumni Council and is an active UNC Charlotte athletics supporter.

(ACM) is seeking motivated project controls engineers, schedulers, and cost analysts for opportunities supporting clients in the Greater Columbus area.  ACM seeks recent college graduates as well as those with over 15+ years of experience.  ACM offers competitive pay in conjunction with years of experience and education as well as a comprehensive benefits package.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience;
  • Budgeting, Forecasting, Earned Value, and Risk Management experience;
  • Oracle Primavera P6; Microsoft® Project and Office; SAP; and/or an off the shelf project management system;
  • Hands-on experience with Construction, Utility, Petrochemical, Institutional, Manufacturing; and/or Pharmaceutical projects;
  • Valid Driver’s License;
  • Construction Industry experience;
  • Willingness to Travel.

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Capital project reporting and/or forecasting for utility and/or manufacturing projects;
  • Cost estimating experience in either all areas of architectural take‑off, conceptual/budgeting, or hard dollar estimating;
  • Professional licenses and/or certifications (PE, CCP, EVP, PMP, PSP, etc.).

James E. Krebs - President-Elect of AACE

ACM is pleased to announce that Senior Vice President and Co-Owner, James E. Krebs, PE, CCP, PMP, FAACE, has been elected President-Elect for AACE International, the Association of the Advancement of Cost Engineering; a 7,000-member nonprofit Association serving the total cost management community since 1956.  This three-year commitment is a continuance of Jim’s service to the Association, having been an active member of AACE International since 1986, earning the Charles V. Keane Distinguished Service Award, named as a Fellow, and in 2019 was presented with the O.T. Zimmerman Founder’s Award.  He has also served on the Association’s Board of Directors as the Director of Region 4, and the Vice President of Administration.

Jim has over 34 years of project management, project controls, and construction experience including planning, scheduling, estimating, cost controls, field supervision, administrative, and claims analysis and testimony services within the heavy construction, nuclear, utility, manufacturing, petrochemical, and automotive industries.

ACM’s Senior Vice President Receives O.T. Zimmerman Founder’s Award for Service to AACE International

Administrative Controls Management, Inc. (ACM) is pleased to announce that its Senior Vice President, Jim Krebs, PE, CCP, PMP, FAACE, was presented with the O.T. Zimmerman Founder’s Award for his service to AACE International through continuous active participation.

The O.T. Zimmerman Founder’s Award recognizes exemplary current service and contribution to the Association for ten (10) years or more. It is awarded to a member who has been instrumental in the development of policies, practices, procedures, and products directed to the advancement of the precepts of total cost management and AACE International.

Jim has been a member of AACE since 1986 and has served the organization in many different capacities including Claims & Dispute Resolution Technical Sub-Committee and Ethics Committee member;  Vice President of Administration (2015-2017);  Director of Region 4 (2008-2010); and President, Vice President, and Board Member for the Great Lakes Section (1995 – 2011). He is also a Fellow, and the 2012 recipient of the Charles V. Keane Distinguished Service Award.

AACE International is a non-profit international association with over 9,000 members in 100 countries worldwide.  AACE has been serving the total cost management community since 1956.
