CHALLENGE: Construction of a pharmaceutical manufacturer’s Technical Development Facility (TDF) (pilot plant and lab office) did not meet its scheduled finish date and encountered several issues during construction.
SOLUTION:
ACM diligently worked to:
- Review the project;
- Interview project participants;
- Review and analyze participant responses;
- Conduct a lessons learned workshop;
- Develop a detailed final report of Construction Management best practices;
- Rate the TDF project versus the best practices;
- Prepare a detailed final report that included written and graphical representation of lessons learned for application to future projects.
